CLAI’DE.LANDS STOCK SALE. The Farmers’ Co-operative Auctioneering Co., Ltd., reports : — We held our fortnightly stock sale in the Clauedlands yards on Thursday last,- and had a good yarding of beef, a fair entry of store cattle and sheep, and a small entry of store pigs. ’ Both beef and mutton sold firm at slightly inferior rates. Good quality medium-weight prime steers £9 14s, light prime £9 ,1s to £9 £3 ; prime cows £5 13s to' £5 19s, medium weights £5 to £5 10s ; light cows and heifers £3 15s to £4 Ils ; heavy plain cows £5 Is to £5 5s ; boners £3 to £3 12s 6d ; store cows £2 to £2 7s 6d ; culls 30s to 355. Best dairy cows at profit sold to £lO 10s, inferior £4i to £5. Prime 2 and 4tooth wethers 23s lOd, prime mixed sex 2-tooths £1„ fat woolly lambs 235. Pigs: Small slips 17s to 20s, best weaners 10s to 12s, young 7s. to 9s. NGARUAWAHIA SHEEP FAIR. At the Ngaruawalhia Sheep Fair on Thursday last a fair entry was submitted, and prices for all classes of sheep were firmer than those reached at other late sheep fairs. Fair 4 and 6-tooth ewes 22s 3d, best 2-to'oths 22s 6d tci 23s ; F.F.M. ewes 14s 6d to 17s 9d, full mouth ewes 12s 9d to 13s 3d, failing mouths 10s to Ils, culls 'ss to 6s ; 4-tooth store wethers 2.15, 2 and 4-tooth store wethers 19s to 19s Id ; best woolly lambs 14s, medium shwn Ils 6d to 11s 9d, 'fair shorn 10s to 10s 6d, small lambs 7s to 7s 6d.
