OBITUARY.

MRS. ETHEL ELSA HUGHES. The death took place at the Thames Hospital yesterday Of Mrs Ethel E. Hughes, of The Esplanade, Paeroa. The deceased was well known in Paeroa, and was the eldest daughter of Mrs Pitkethley. It will be remembered that her husband was accidentally drowned off a dredge about five years ago. She leaves a family of six children —two boys, and four girls—whose ages range f,rom seventeen years to six years, to mourn their loss. The funeral takes place to-morrow afternoon.
