This improvement has at last been given effect to, and travel to and from the city will now be done in comfort and at a much reduced rate, the fare being practically half that charged for the overland journey. The boat has recently been overhauled and renovated,, particular attention having been given to the sleeping berths. A comfortable mattress, and clean blankets, sheets, and counterpanes are provided, and passengers will now be able to enjoy a restful sleep while they travel.
