HAMILTON STOCK SALE. The Fanners’ Co-operative Auctioneering Company reports:— In the Frankton yards on Tuesday we had a good entry of cow and heifer, beef, and values were Easier than those reached the previous week. A Ifull yarding of fat and store sheep was offered and sold firm at late rates. The usual large number of ‘fat and store pigs were penned and sold at equal to last week’s rates. Beef : Prime young cows and heifers £6 2s to £7 7s 6d, light cows £4 7s 6d to £4 16s, 3-year Hereford steers in ■forward condition £6 ss, 3%‘year store steers £6 13s, 18-months steers £3 12s 6d, bulls (potters) £3 10s to £3 17s 6d.
Sheep: Extra heavy prime ewQs 15s Id, medium weight 13s 9d to 14s; prime lambs 22s to 235, lighter 19s to 21s ; light fat wethers 21s 6d, forward 2-tooth wethers 20s to 21s, small 15s to 15s 6d ; best shorn rape lambs 16s to 16s 2d, good medium shorn lambs Ils 6d to 12s, good woolly B.F. lambs 15s 6d, store lambs 9s 6d to 12s, cull lambs 5s 2d to Bs. Pigs: Heavy £3 8s to £3 14s, light baconers £3 2s to £3 5s heavy porkers £2 14's. to £2 18s, light porkers £2 6s to £2 Ils; slips 28s to 325, best weaners 18s to 225, small and young 12s to 15s.
