NEWSPAPER MEDIUM PRAISED,
An enthusiastic supporter of newspaper advertising is ( Mr R. H. Brittain, an English manufacturing chemist, who arrived at Auckland from Sydney by the Ulimaroa on Tuesday. He expressed the conviction that with extensive advertising, a market could be created for all goods of merit, and in the forefront of advertising mediums he placed the newspaper.
“I have proved the value of newspaper advertising during the last few years,” Mr Brittain “and I would have no oth®r. Four years ago I dispensed with my staff of travellers and put the money into newspaper space, w'ith infinitely better results. And if you want results, take display space. It pays e.very time.”
