WEDDING.

McDonald—wells. A very pretty wedding took place at St. Andrew’s Presbyterian Church, Paeroa, on the evening of November 24, wheji Muriel Bryson, only daughter of Mrs and the late Mr F. J. Wells, of this town, was married to Hector Claude, only son of the Rev. and Mrs F. McDonald, of Pahiatua. The church was prettily decorated by friends of the bride. Mrs P. HagueSmith presided at the organ. The service was conducted by the Rev. McDonald, assisted by the Rev. Lowden. , The bride entered the church on the arm of her brother Cecil, and was charmingly attired in a frock of ivory satin embroidered in silver and pearls, the train being lined with silver tissue embroidered with lovers’ knots in ribbon, and orange blossom. She wore the usual orthodox veil and coronet of orange blossoms, and carried a shower bouquet o'f white roses and earnations. The bridesmaids were Miss Myra Brown, wearing a rose pink silk frock with silver lace overdress and tulle Tam-o’-shanter hat, and wreath of roses to tone, and Miss Mavis Ladner, cousin of the bride, who wore a cyclamen silk frock with over dress df silver lace and tam-o’-shanter hat and wreath of flowers to match. Both bridesmaids carried bouquets to match their frocks. The little flowergirl, June McDonald, was .attired in white brocaded crepe, de chine, and wore a circlet of silver -leaves round her head. She carried a basket of flowers. Mr Roy Wells carried out the duties of best man and Mr. Vickers Carrick acted as groomsman.

A reception was held in the Druids’ Hall, where the guests were received by the. bride’s mother, who wor.e a frock of fawn and violet brocaded silk, with hat to tone.
