BRENAN SHIELD COMPETITION. LAST SATURDAY’S PLAY. The B section of the Brenan Memorial Shield competition was played on the local green on Saturday, and resulted in a win for F. Marsh’s team. An unusual score ’for bowling was registered by 7 Mettain, W. Chamberlain, J. McDonald and F. Marsh (skip), who scored 49 points against their opponents’ (Lowry, Finnic, TBlack, L. Cane) 12.

The winning team in the A section was that skipped by W. H. Taylor.
