HAMILTON STOCK SALE. The Farmers’ Co-operative Auctioneering Company reports:— In the Frankton yards on Tuesday last we had a small entry of ox and cow beef, a full yarding of ’fat sheep and store and rape lambs, and the usual heavy yarding o’f fat and store pigs. Prices 'for beef were a little easier than those reached the previous week, light to medium fat steers bringing from £9 Is to £9 ss, good quality medium-weight crime heifers £5 14s to £6 10s>, medium cows £5 6s to £5 Ils, lighter £3 17s 6d to £4 Ils , best, veald’s to, £3 15s, others £2 tP £2 10s. Sheep : Fats were firmer, and competition was keen for store and rape lambs. Fat, ewes 14s to 14s 7d, fat lambs 20s to 22s 6d, 4 and 6-to/th wethers in store condition 225, forward conditioned ewes Ils 96, best W.P, shorn rape lambs 15s 7d to 15s lid, medium 12s 4d to 13s 4d; medium B.F. lambs 13s Id to 13s 6d, small shorn lambs 10s 9d to Ils 6d, culls 8s 6d to 9s Id.

Pigs: All classes sold at, slightly improved rates. Heavy baconers £3 10s to £3 145., goood porkers and light baconers £3 5s to £3 Bs, medium porkers £2 12s to £2 18 s, light £2 5s to £2 7s 6d ; heavy choppers £4 5s to £ 5 6s, large stores £2 10s to £2 15s, slips 30s to 345, weaners 15s to 255, young and small 9s, to 13s.
