The Kaihere cricket team' almost secured a th!ree-point win from the Kopuarahi eleven at Kaihere on Saturday last. In the first innings Kaihere made 25 runs and dismissed Kopuarahi for 19. After lunch the home team knocked up 64, and at 3.30, wnen stumps we’re drawn, in accordance with the rules of the. competition, the home; team had seven runs to make and only two batsmen le'ft.
