PAEROA ATHLETIC CLUB.

CTo the Editor.! Sir, —Having been to a few recent sports meetings, it has become evident to me that great credit is due. to the able secretary and his band of Avilling workers for the manner in which the recent at.hletic sports meeting at Paeroa was controlled. It must have been very gratifying to the people of this town to know t,hat at least one. new body o'f men had been formed who evidently knew their work and were capable of carrying it out with such enthusiasm and fine spirit. They deserve all the praise we can give them. Now, it is up tp the residents and business people to give, this newly formed club with the capable officials every assistance in the future. A RESIDENT.
