Dr. H. Lange has been appointed assistant house surgeon at the Thames Hospital.
After spending just over a week at Paeroa. and Waihi oil matters relating to his electorate, Mr A. M. Samuel left, Paieroa to-day for Auckland. Mr E. C. Westbury, .assistant accountant in the office of the New Plymouth Bprough Council, has. been appointed town clerk of Waihi out of 28 applicants. .
