Motorists of the Hauraki Plains who can look back to many pleasant picnics spent last summer at the beach at New Brighton are hoping that the Cbuhty Council will. have the Miranda road graded up and something done to the crossing at Cbx-i, head’s stream prior ,to the coming holidays. Before replying to the address o’f welcome at the Pajeroa Domain Thursday the Governor-General invited all the children to sit down on the grass'and make themselves comfortable. This privilege was, much appreciate, and it also showed the kindly nature of His Excellency.
