TENNIS. Owing to the unsettled weather rje•cent.ly the > tennis match between Waihi and Hikutaia had to be postponed repeatedly, but last Saturday • conditions were 'favourable, and the -players of both teams were very en--‘.thusiastic. Numer.ous spectators were present to witness the match, whnch was the : first of the season. Following are the scares, the home players being mentioned first :— Ladies’ Singles.—-Miss G. "The school concert recently produced by the children of the Kaihere, school was repeated in the Patetohga Hall on Tuesday evening, the proceeds going in aid of the hall.
