A variety of interesting subjects is pictorially dealt with in this, week’s issue of the "Sporting and Dramatic Review.” The opening 'day o'f the Takapuna Jockey Club’s meeting is represented in an animated series, of snaipshots, and the Otahuhu Trotting Club’s meeting is also dealt with, idf general interest, are the photographs showing the Maori football team in their victorious match against Somerset. Another fine page is devoted to the group of 150 pupils photographed at the Shelly Beach baths, including a demonstration by the instructor. Frotaa. overseas are striking photographs of the Horse Guards’ Parade, .the Queen of Rumania’s visit to America, the Hon. J. G. Coates in London, the Duke and Duchess of York at Edinburgh. The stage and motion pictures have an exceptionally interesting representation.
