PATETONGA MATTERS.
COMMITTEE’S DECISION WANTED.
MINISTER’S REPLY TO MR SAMUEL
In reply to a letter urging some finality in connection with the drainage and roading at Patetonga and pointing out that the settlers wanted to know the Government’s decision as, the season was advancing, Mr A. M. Samuel, M.P., received the following telegram from the Minister of Lands (Hon. A. D. McLeod) yesterday':—
“Your recent communication urging finality, Patetonga Committee’s report. Please accept my assurance that no time will be lost in apprising you of its contents, and of the Government’s decision with respect to Committee’s recommendations.”
