That a little more care should be exercised by some drivers of motor vehicles when turning in the street was amply demonstrated on Monday evening, when the driver of a light motor delivery car turned sharply to the left in Normanby Road and only escaped ramming a five-seater motorcar. Some very awkward positions have also been created by drawing up too far frdm the edge of the footpath, particularly so in Belmont Road, which is fairly narrow for a busy thoroughfare. |
