WEDDING AT PAEROA.
RAE—CLAYTON. A pretty wedding was solemnised at St. Paul’s Anglican Church pn Wednesday, November 17, when Edna Sylvia, the only daughter of Mr and Mrs, Edward Clayton, of Paeroa;, was married to Mr Bernard Alexander Rae, eldest son of Mr and Mrs Robert Raq, of Devonport, Auckland. . The ceremony was performed by the Rev. Connolly, of Te Aroha. The bride was given a,way by her father, and looked charming’in her robe df cream brocaded crepe-dq-chine, with pearl trimmings, veil, and prainge blossoms. She carried a bouquet of roses, sweetpeas, and maidenhair fern. Miss Edith Helling accompanied the bride, and was attired in a dress of palq green crepe-de-chine with pear.l trimmings, hat and bouquet to match. Mr Colin Rae was best man. After the ceremony the guests were entqrtained at a wedding breakfast at'the Soldiers’ Club, the mother df the bride receiving her guests in a grey brocaded crepe-de-chine dress and mauve hat. The future home of Mr and Mrs Rae will be Belmont, Devonport.
