GAIETY THEATRE PICTURES. TO-NIGHT. CONQUERING BLQOD. Tom Mix, the modern Buffalo Bill, will be seen in “Conquering B obd” tonight. Tony, Tom’s wonder horse, again proves that he is the peer of ail equine actors, and he dashes through the six reels of pictorial drama witln all his old-time speed and haughtiness. ST. PAUL’S BAZAAR, GAIETY THEATRE, TO-MORROW. The annual sale of work promoted by .the parishioners of St. Paul’s Church, Paeroa, will be held at the Gaiety Theatre to-morrow. In addition to a number of attractive stalls there will be cooking competitions, in which several classes have been provided. Another feature will be the flo.Wer show, for which a large number of exhibits have been received. The sale of work will be opened at 11 a.m., and will continue until to-mor-row night. Special attention is being paid to the refreshment rooms, where luncheon, afternoon tea, supper, and strawberries and cream will be available at a small cost. FAMOUS ENTERTAINER. SPECIAL PAEROA APPEARANCE. TUESDAY NEXT. With the appearance of Mr Joe Smithson at the grand entertainment in the Gaiety Theatre on Tuesday next, November 23, Paeroa theatregoers will have the rare opportunity of hearing an artist who has, asi a professional, delighted large audiences from Invercargill to Auckland. Press clippings of this celebrated artist report : “Mr Joe Smithson as the vagabond held the audience in such a .spell that they almost refused to let him leave the stage.” “Mr Joe Smithson proved himself a versatile entertainer of the first flight.
