Complaint of the spread of tall fescue from Orongo due to the seed ■sticking to the wheels of vehicles, using the settlement roads, which are almost overgrown, was made by Cr. Miller at Thursday’s meeting of the Plains County Council. It was decided to employ some of the soldier settlers to mow the fescue growing on the roads.
