TENDERS are invited, addressed to the Chairman, Hauraki Plains County, Ngatea, closing Wednesday, November 10, atj 5 p.m., for the following:— CONTRACT No. I.—Construction of Concrete Dam, tunnelling 328 lineal feet, more or less, installation of Cast Iron Pipes supplied by the Council, etc. CONTRACT No. lA.—Supply of Cast Iron Waterworks Goods far Headworks. CONTRACT No. 2.—Supply and Laying Reinforced Concrete Water Main, length approximately nine miles, alternatively Ten-inch or Nine-inch. CONTRACT No. 2A._Supply of approximately nine miles in Nine-inch and Eight-inch CAST IRON PIPES, together with Valves and Special Castings. CONTRACT No. 2C.—Supply and Laying Ten-inch STEEL or IRON (other than Cast Iron) PIPES, length approximately nine miles. The Works will be shown to intending Contractors. For this purpose the Engineer will be in attendance at the County Office, Ngatea, on Wednesday, 27th Inst., leaving at 10 a.m. for the Works, and thereafter further visits to the Works may be arranged with the County Clerk. Drawings and Specifications on view at County Office, Ngatea, or at Office of E. F. Adams, Civil Engineer, Thames. In cose of Contracts Nos. 1A and 2A a copy of Specification furnished on application to County Clerk and payment of 10s, repayable on return of copy or on receipt of tender. Enclose Deposit of 5 per cent, on tendered price and names of .sureties with Contracts Nos. 1,2, and 2C.
