A return tabled a.t yesterday’s meeting of the Ohinemuri County Council shotved that 52 cows, 22 steers and heifers, 166 sheep, 1 lama, 2 calves and 6 pigs were slaughtered at the Paerda abattoirs during October. Fees for the month totalled £47 5s lid.
