WOMAN-HANDLED
“Woman-handled,” the answer to “Man-handled,” by the same author, is the picture to' be shown to-night. Richard Dix is starred, with Esther Ralston. “Woman-handled” tells a story of modern Western ranch life—a farce comedy in which .the star, as Bill Dana, an eastern “softy,” hies himself to the wild a,nd woolly West to make a real man of himself.

FUNCTION TO-MORROW EVENING.
The Paeroa Basketball A &s o c i ation will bring its season’s activities to a close to-morrow evening, when a dance and euchre tournament will be held at the Gaiety Theatre. Arrangements a,re well in hand, and patrons should have the opportunity of spending an enjoyable night. During the evening the shield and other trophies won during the season will be presented.
