WARDEN'S COURT.

OCTOBER SITTING AT PAEROA. APPLICATIONS DEALT WITH. At a brief sitting of the Warden’s Court at Paeroa, before Mr J. WPoynton, Warden, on Monday last, the application of H. D. Bedford for protection on the Desert Gold S.Q.C. No. 8967 was granted for six months in terms of the Minister’s consent.

An application by the Imperial Gold Mining Co. for .a reduction of rent on the Imperial and McDonald special quartz claims was approved by the Minister of Mines,

The application by James Williams for the Talisman Dubbo Extended quartz claim was granted subject to a favourable report from the mining

inspector. Subject to the consent of the owner of the freehold, the application by Joseph Bramble for a prospecting license over 100 acres at Waitekauri was granted.

Reginald Dixon and others applied for a reduction of 'rent on Dixon’s Maratoto S.Q.C., the application being recommended to the Minister of Mines.

S. A. Shaw applied for full protection for six months on the Hauraki speciial river claim and the Golden Zone S.Q.C., and Richard Craig applied for similar protection on the Rawhiti S.Q.C., both applications, being referred to the Minister of Mines for his consideration.
