Dog-breeders and owners in Wanganui are perturbed by a fatal sickness that has invaded their kennels (says the "Chronicle”). The malady appears to be prevajlent throughout New Zealand, and has been responsible for the death of many cherished pets. So severe have been its ravages that one well-known Wanganui breeder, Mr W. J. Upton, lost s,ix dogs, valued at £2OO, while in Christchurch only five dogs out Of 27 survived in one set of kennels. Wallace Milking Machines ara used and recommended by up-to-date Dairy Farmers because they give satisfaction.*
