HAWKE’S BAY V. THAMES VALLEY.

TEAMS FOR TO-MORROW.

The members of the Hawke’s Bay Rugby touring team arrived at Paeroa by yesterday afternoon’s express. In the unavoidable absence of the president of the Thames Vajley Rugby Union (Mr J. W- Silcock) Mr W. Penne,lJ, chairman of the Paeroa Union, with Messrs T. P. Vuglar and J. M, Crosby, met the team and formally welcomed them to Paeroa.

The visitors were the guests of the Paeroa Orphans’ Club last night, and this afternoon they rverei motored to Waikino and Waihi. On Sunday the team will be taken for a motor drive round the district.

The following is the personnel of the teams to play to-morrow at the local Domain: —

Hawke’s Bay.—Full-back, Neal; three-quarters, Tait, Berth, Lawton ; five-eighths, Te Ngaio, Oliver ; halfback, Edwards ; rover, Batchelor (captain) ; hookers, Wynn, Bridgeman; lock, Hassett; side row, Munro, Conrad ; back raw, Tanka;rd, King.
