The annual report of the directors of Milne and Choyce, Limited, Auckland, states that the balance of profit and loss as sholwn in the last balancesheet was £41,843, from which was paid the dividend agreed to at the last annual meeting, and staff bonus amounting to £13,380, leaving £28,463. The profit for the year ended July 31, 1926, amounted to £20.025. An interim didivend paid on April 10 absorbed £lO,OOO, leaving a credit balance of £39,388, from which the directors recommend the payment of a dividend on all classes of shares and debenture stock at the rate of 8 per cent, for the year, absorbing a further £lO,OOO. and leaving £29,388 to be carried forward.
