VISIT OF HAWKE’S BAY TEAM. ARRANGEMENTS COMPLETED. Followers of Rugby football will have the opportunity of witnessing a good exhibition of the game at the Paeroa Domain on Saturday, when the Hawke’s. Bay team will try conclusions with a team representative of the Thames Valley. The Hawke’s Bay team is due to arrive at Paeroa to-morrow afternoon. To-mdrro’w night the team will be the guests of the Paeroa Orphans’ Club at its monthly session. On Friday the Thames. Valley Rugby Union, in conjunction with the Paeroa Union, has arranged for a visit of inspection to be; paid to the Waikino crushing battery and Waihi gold mines. The team will return in the afternoon, and a practice, will be held at the domain. On Sunday arrangements. have been made to take the visitors on a motor tour of the district. The visitors will leave Paeroa on Monday morning. • At a meeting of the Paeroa' Rugby Union hejd on Monday night the incidents leading up to the dramatic conclusion of the Netherton v. West match at PaerOa on Saturday last were considered. A great deal df evidence, including a lengthy report from the referee (Mr F. Pivott), was considered, after which the whole matter was adjourned until Monday evening next.
