HAMILTON STOCK SALE. The Farmers’ Co-operative Auctioneering Company reports:— At the weekly stock sale in the Frankton yards on Tuesday last we had a small entry of steer and cow beef, which sold at lower rates than in the pievious week. A medium yarding of fat sheep was submitted, and we are unable to report any improvement in values. A full yarding of fat pigs was penned, and prices were easier. The usual heavy yardnig of store pigs came forward and sold firm at the usual high values. Medium-weight prime fat steers sold to £l4 IBs, lighter £l2 17s, 6d, light £8 19s to £lO 3s, unfinished £6 2s to £7 10s ; best fat cows to £lO 12 l s> 6d, •medium £8 to £8 10s, light £6 to £6 10s ; fresh-cdnditioned cows £4 2s 6d to £4 15s ; • good-framed stores £3 to £3 10s>, small stores 255. to £2. The •advertised line of Hereford cows, was passed in, failing to reach the vendor’s reserve. Shep : Prime shorn wethers 26s 3d ; medium fat wethers in wool 30s, light 25s ; prime woolly hoggets 23s 3d to 255, 7d, lighter 21s 9d ; plain fat ewes 19s to 21s.

Pigs : Heavy baconers £4 8s to £4 10s, lighter £4 to £4 ss, medium £3 10s to £3 17s 6d; good porkers and light baconers £3 5s to £3 7s 6d ; medium porkers, £2 15s to £3 3s, light ajid unfinished £2 5s to £2 12s; choppers £4 to £4 ss; sows with young £9 ss, inferior £2 10s to’ £3 ; large stores £2 2s to £2 10s ; best slips 3'ss to 38s, others 25s to 325; good weaners 25s to 30s, small 17s to 21s, young 10s to 13s.
