A pretty girl, a chance to> wander free for a few hours- held an irresistible appeal, so when his. ministers wanted him to sign a bond financing his country he could not be found. But the wily financier knew where to find the king, yet he did not tell the bewildered ministers until next morning. You will enjoy the discomfiture, Of Adolphe Menjou the morning after in “‘The King on Main Street,” which is to be shown to-night. Also another instalment of "Samson of the Circus.’’ SATURDAY NIGHT, THE WHITE MONKEY. Barbara La Marr does the finest work of her career in “The White Monkey,” to be screened to-morrow night. The story tolls- of the intriguing love affairs of Fleur and Michael, and Victorina and Tony Bickett.
