HAMILTON STOCK SALE.
• The Farmers’ Co-operative Auctioneering Company reports:—
At the weekly stock salfe in the Frankton yards on Tuesday last we had a good u yarding of prime steer, cow; and heifer beef. Fat steers showed an improvement on- the' values; recently reached, while cows and heifers sold at late quotations with the exception of a few odd pens which were a little easier. Good quality prime heavy steers sold to £IS, heavy -£l3 10s to £l4, mediunriprime £l2 14s to £l3, well done light to) medium £9 15s to £lO 15s ; small plain and unfinished stders £7 12s 6d to £8 12s 6‘d, good quality prime heavy cows. £l3 to £l3 10s, heavy fat cows £l2 to £l2 15s, medium prime £lO 2s 6d to £ll ss, lighter £8 15s to £9 10s ; _xoung and light ‘cows and heifers. £5 Bs. to £7, plain cOws £7 7s 6d to £7 12s 6d, fresh conditioned cows £4 to £4 lOsi, stores £2 6s to £2 10s, culls £1 6s to 30s. Fat sheep were penned in average numbers: and the quality was. above the usual that comes forward and. sold at the following rates. Good heavy wethers 35® 6d, lighter 335, medium 28s ; prime ewes 28s Id to 30s 6d ; fat and forward woolly hoggets 18s 6d,
