Mr John Burns, who was for twenty .years, in change of the Government stamp printing departmejit, agrees with recent criticism on the new stamp issue. He says: “The new stamps are 'certainly crude to me. Their size does not suit the design, the shades of colour (deep blue and mauve) do not favour the design, and the paper they are printed, on is, totally unsuitable. It is a pity they were ever put into clrculaticin.” Farmers! Only the. best milking machine is good enough for you. Buy the Wallace and get satisfaction.*
