THE. RISING SUN. , ; The manager’of the Rising Sun Mine (Owharoa), in the course of his' report for the 'week ending July 3,, states that stoping operations werecarried out on the various blocks df (milling ore with satisfactory results,* and there was no change to report except on the south' branch of No. 3 reef. At this point a'great improve-, ment had taken place, the lode in : some places giving a width of_3ft of easily broken ore. Froin June 24 to 30 ten stamps ran, 53 hours at the battery, crushing approximately 53 toils l of ore worth'£s 0s 4d per ton.
