At Thursday’s sitting of the local Magistrate’s Court W. Meta was ordered to pay T. H. Hale £6 19s 6d, and costs 15s 6d, in default six days’ imprisonment in the Thames gapl, the warrant to be suspended so long asi debtor paid £1 a month, the first payment to be made on July 6.

The Hauraki Drainage Board has granted the Thames Valley Power Board permission to plaice a culvert in the Piako roadside drain to give access to its proposed depot site at Hauraki Road corner.
