Jim Pikare, £1 15s, costs £1 7s 6d; Brenan and Co. v. J. Kotara, 1/-, costs 19s; Brocket and Shand v. J. Adams, £6 12s, costs £1 15s 6d ; C. N. O’Nfeill v. A. Pilbrow, £6 0s 9d, costs £1 17s 6d; Maxwell and Brash v. A. Mitchell, £l3 9s, costs £2 14s; Pa,eroa Borough Council v. R. Whitten, £52 4s 7d, costs £6 10s ; same v. owners section HA, Te-Arero-o-Hautata, £lO 6s 4d, costs £3 19s ; same v. G. A. Smith, £2O 12s 6d, costs £4 Is 6d; same v. estate of J. Couper, £5 3s 4d', costs £l’ 10s 6d. JUDGMENT SUMMONSES. Kiri Wirihari was ordered to pay W. Stephenson 18s 3d, in default 24' hours in Paeroa gaol. G. Brown was ordered to pay W. Fleming and Son £5 17s, and costs 14b 6d, in default five days in Thames gaol, the. warrant not tpi be issued uii.til August 9. Punch Taupaki was ordered to pay W. Fleming and Son £4 17s 6d', in default four days in Thames gaol, warlant to be suspended until July 15. J. F. Montague was ordered to pay E. W. Porritt £6 3s 2d, and costs 15s 6d, in default six days’ imprisonment in Hamilton gaol.
J. M. O’Shea was ordered to pay Brocket and Shapd £lB 16is Id, in default 18 days’ imprisonment hi the Thames gaol, warrant ,to be suspended so long as debtor paid £1 a fortnight, the first payment to be made on July 5. Nana Peke a,nd Paro Pihana were ordered to pay P. Williams, Ltd., £5 9s 3d, and costs !5s 6d, in default six day’s imprisonment in Thames gapl, warrant to be suspended so long as the debtors paid 10b a month, the first payment to be made on July 9. The Pacific Motors, Ltd., proceeded against A. W. Curtis to recover the sum of £34 16s 9d, being the balance of purchase money due on a motorcar. In evidence the debtor said that he wii;S a married man with one 'child. He ha,d been put to heavy expense through illness,, during which time he had got into arrears with his accounts. Although he was able to earn 16s a day on stop-banking and roadwork he lost a lot of time through wet weather. The Magistrate said that in view Jf the circumstances the offer to pay the ajnount e.ff in' instalments of £1 a, month would be accepted.
