YOUNG—JACKSON. A pretty wedding of interest to people of this? district took place on June 9 at St. Luke’s Church, Mt. Albert, when Mr Alfred John Young, of Netherton, was united in holy wedlock to Miss Muriel Gaynor Jackson, of Marne Avenue, Mt. Albert, and formerly of De.vonport. The bride, who entered the church on the arm of her brother, Mr Gaynor Jackson, wore a charming frock of ivory embossed charmeuse and silver trimmings. Her veil was arranged under a silver coronet edged with pearls, and she carried a bouquet of white roses and cyclamens. She was attended by Miss Hazel Wight as bridesmaid, who wore a frock of beaded cyclamen crepe-de-chine and a ha.t of fuchsia tonings and carried a bouquet of pale heliotrope chrysanthemums. The Rev. James Beaufort supported the bridegroom as best, man, and Archdeacon Hawkins officiated. After the ceremony Miss S- E.
