NETHERTON SCHOOL COMMITTEE.
(To the Editor.) Sir,—In reply to the trio, as II will term them, I must say that in their attempt to justify themselves they have only sunk deeper in the mire. Their quibble about a ticket is so inane that any elucidation on my part would be superfluous. It. is quite clear that they do not know the difference between manual labour and responsibility, and make it appear that their brains are only fit for manual labour. They seem very upset because it was made known that no one could be found to uphold the old members nominated. Why this should be is not quite clear to me, because it is no secret that an elector wag approached and agked to come to the meeting for the express purpose of removing the chairman. Subsequent events have proved that my letter was not only opportune but extremely necessary. HOUSEHOLDER
