WAIKATO MARKET REPORT. The Farmers’ co-operative Auctioneering Company reports:— Beef. —Plenty of prime ox apd cow beef its; offering, both in the paddocks and yards, with no improvement in price, although the market is firm at late quotes, bast ox making 30s to 31s per 10'0 and best cow 23s to 2'ss. Fat Sheep.—Sufficient isj coming forward to- meet the demand, Wether mutton being a,bout the same, with a slight rise in ewes. Store Sheep.—Although no rise in prices, there is a fair demand for store wethers and hoggets, but the market for ewe® in lamb is quiet. Store Cattle. —The market is somewhat easier, due no doubt to the Ihjrge yardihgs of outside cattle coming 'forward from Hawke’s Bay and the East Coa&t. These cattle in most cases are very low in condition. A good inquiry exists for choice in-cajf dairy heifers, also forward empty cows, but cull cows and weaners are dull of sale. Pigs,—The market is still firm for finished bacohers at about 6%d, with prices a little easier for unfinished and porkers. Good stores are wanted, but weaners, are dull ot sale. Horses.—The market is very quiet for all classes.

Sheep : Wethers, prime heavy 29s to 31s, medium 26s 6d to 27s ; ewes, prime heavy 20s to 235, prime light 18® to 19s; store wethere, 4-tooth, shorn, 24,s 6d to 25s 6d, 2-tooth 20s to 22s 6d; ewes, 4,6, and 8-tooth, in lamb, 24s to 25s 6d, 5-year 18s to 20s ; aged ewes 12s to 14s ; fat lambs 22s to 24s ; good store woolly hoggets' 13® to 14s 6d. Pigs: Baconers, prime £3 15s to £4, medium £3 8s to £3 12s 6d ; porkers £2 5s tbf £2 15s.'; slips 30s to 34s ; weanens: 8s to 12s.
