HAMILTON STOCK SALE. The Farmers’ co-operative Auctioneering Company reports:— - At. the .weekly stock market in the Frankton yards on Tuesday we had a, good yarding of beef, principally cows and heitens. A fair entry of sheep and a full number of fat and store pigs were penned. Prime t cow and heifer beef was easier than in the previous week, while plain ajnd unfinished sold on a par. Medium quality heavy steers sold to £l2 ss; good quality light . prime steers made up to £9 5s ; prime heavy cows and heifers £8 ,15s to £9, lighter, prime £7 10s to' £7 17s 6d, well done medium quality' £5 10s to £6 10s, light £4 10s to £5 Is; best veajers £2 16s to £3 3s, young .and small £1 195.t0 £2. 6s ; unfinished cows mid heifers £3 15s. to £4'’’ss, stores £2T(teto £3, culls;; 25s to 28s-; well bred low-conditioned 2-year Hereford steers £3 17s, same' class 18-nionths £3 2s to £3 ss, poor quality: 2-year-pld in-calf Shorthorn, hei'fers 35s to £2. ’ ■ Sheep.—All: classes sold at similar prices to .those reached at other late markets. " Fat' wethers 30's ,to 30s 3d ; medium fat .wethers 27s ; prime early shorn lambs 25s 6d ; medium, size fat woolly la.mbs ,17s to 18s 6d; forwardconditioned ewes 16s 6d to 17s 4d ; F.M. ewes 1 in , lamb to B.F. rams £l, same age small frame and in lainb to Romney rams' 15s, cull ewes 7s. Pigs.—-The large entry that was offered consisted chiefly of unfinished baconers and porkers, and sold at/late rates, prime heavy pigs being scarce. Stores isold in a.dvarice if anything.
