BARBERS OF PARIS. • • ■ • ■. SHAVERS GO ON STRIKE. , PARIS', May 17. The inevitability of a. barbers’ strike has, caused a; rush for safety razors, brushes, and. soap. Barbers’ assistants, however, realising that this would reduce their clientele after the projected strike had been settled, have promptly issued a manifesto stating that they’ would shave regular customers free. They are opening a temporary shop in each district until the master barbers give way.
