B. Eagle, and- S-.- R. Lancaster —bred from such notable anianimals, as ' K.C.8., -Majesty’s Fox, ' Roberts, , Admiral of Puketapu, and other famous imported stock. The whole of the present herd is bred from these animals, a combination eminently suitable for .type .and production. Ten of' the cows ha t ve S:0. records, and four heifers are on test this year—the latest figures for " these will be given at the sale. As Mr Veale dees all his own - work he always been tod busy to give the test cows any special attention, .and their records have been put up under ordinary farm conditions; running ; with the herd the whole: time on light rolling land. Nevertheless they have all ’done remarkably well, most of them at least 1001 b above their standard C.O.R. and several as much as 2001 b butter-fat over their standard. All the cows and heifers- are guaranteed to/be in calf, and'will be sold without reserve, and the builds will be. knocked down to: any reasonable bid.
