On Saturday Jast the final; of the Easter pairs competition was played, C. Holes and W H. Taylor (skip)', 25, defeating E. Edwards and F. Marsji (skip), 24. The ga i me wtas a stirring tussJe and the result was in doubt up ,to the playing Of the last head. The club pairs cpmpetition has; reached an interesting stage. W. Chamberlain and .W. J. Towers (skip) |-and W. R. Wilson and T. L. Williams (skip) are .equal with ten wins. each. The final is to be played to-morrow. . The Brenan Memorial; Shield competition has been won this season by F. Marsh’s team with, seven ga,mes.. The A grade competition has been won by W. McCull;ay, .and T. L. Williams has annexed the B grade championship.
