COUNTY OF HAURAKI PLAINS NOTICE OF INTENTION TO BORROW., LOAN of £2,000 over the Peka Peka Road Water Supply Special Rating Area for the purpose of providing and establishing a complete Water Service as follows: — 1. For the purpose of constructing, providing and establishing a complete Water Service for the pumping, transmission, and supply of water for farming, domestic and general purposes for the benefit of the Peka Peka Water Supply Special Area. 2. That as security for the payment of interest, sinking fund, and other, charges on the said loan, it is the intention of'the Council to make and levy a Special Rate of One Penny Threefarthings (lid) in the £ on the rateable value (unimproved) of all rateable property in the said Peka Peka Road Water Supply Special Area. 3. That it is the intention of the Council to pay out of the loan the cost of raising the loan, and the interest and sinking fund for the first year. 4. That the loan is for a period of twenty (20) years, at such rate of interest not exceeding so much as may be authorised under Section 11 of “The Finance Act, 1921,” together with an additional charge to provide the necessary Sinking Fund. . •The Boundaries of the said Special Rating Area are as follows : Commencing at the eastern extremity of the Peka Peka Road at its intersection with the main Netherton Road, thence in a southerly direction along the said main road ,to the south-eastern corner of section 2, Fisher’S estate, thence in a westerly direction along the southern boundaries of sections 2 and 5 Fisher’s estate, and sections 6,8, and 9 Kaikahu Block, thence in a northerly direction from the‘southwestern corner of section,9 Kaikahu No. 3 to the south-east corner of lot 2 Kaikahu No. IB 1 and 2, thence westerly along the southern boundary of lots 1 and \ 2 Kaikahu No. IB 1 and 2, thence northerly along the . western boundaries of lot 1 Kaikahu No. IB 1 and 2 and Wairau 3D section 2 and Wairau 3B IB to western corner of section 11 Fisher’s estate, thence northwesterly along the northern boundaries of sections 11, 12, 13, and 7 Fisher’s estate, thence south- east along the north-east-ern and eastern boundaries of sections 7 and 4 Fisher’s estate to the south-eastern corner of section 4 on Peka Peka Road, thence easterly along the said road to the point of'commencement. COUNTY OF HAURAKI PLAINS HEAVY TRAFFIC. PURSUANT to a resolution of the Hauraki Plains County Council passed on April 13th in accordance with Section 91 of the Hauraki Plains' County Bylaws, 1922, made in accordance with Section 139 of the “Public Works Act, 1908,” ALL HEAVY TRAFFIC, being vehicular traffic of a weight exceeding ONE AND A HALF TONS (including weight of vehicle) for each pair of wheels, is prohibited on all roads within the County of Hauraki Plains from to-day until and including September 30, 1926.
