WEDDING AT PAEROA.
tfED&B—FLEMING. - A pretty.wedding was solemnised a,t the Presbyterian Church, Paeroa, on Wednesday last, when Mass Mai’garet Mck. Fleming,.-elder daughter of Mr and Mrs W.'Fleming, of Paeroa, was united to Mr Stanley J- Hedge, ajso of Paeroa. ' The church; which had been beautifully deeprated-by friends of the bride, was well filled 1 with guests and well-wishers to witness the happy event, the officiating minister being tire Rev.. J.: Rybfirn, of Te Arolia. The bride, who was given /away by her, father, looked very b'etty robed in ivory embossed draped with lace. The train was l,ihed with pale! pink, georgette finished with' sprays , of. orange blossom, and the embroidered tulle veal, fell ’ from a coronet of orange blossoms and lilies: of the valr Ip.v. She carried a shower bouquet of. white chrysanthemums, pale pink begonias, and dsparagUEi Miss Christine Fleming,' sister-of the and Miss Kathleen Hedge; of Te attended as brdesma.ids, both being attired in frocks of pale blue satin moonglow, with petalled skirts trimmed with silver .lace, and wearing tulle head-dresses to match. They carried : hower bouquetfe- of white, chrysanthemums, pale pink and asparagus,.. Mr Jack Fleming was best mah, a,nil Mr C. N. O'Neill groomsman. After the 'happy event had bep?i solemnised the,, guests werij received by Mr and Mrs Fleming at the Criterion reception rooms, where, a dainty wedding breakfast was partaken of. The toast of “The King” wais; proposed by M'r J. Fleming ,and di-unk with musical honours. “The Health of the. Bridb. and Bridegreonr was proposed by Mr Percy Wil;lia,ms and drunk with, the singing of “For they are jolly good fellows,” followed by three ringing cheers. The best man then read out a large number of congratulatory letters and telegrams, after which the bridegroom responded for the hearty manner the health of the bride and bridegroom ha ; d been received. The toast of “The Bridesmaids-” Was proposed by Mr Toplitss and responded to by the best man. Mr A. F. Steedmap proposed the toast of “The Parents of the Bride and Bridegroom,” which was ’responded to by Mr W. Fleming and Mr Geo. Hedge, of Te Ardha.
