NOTICE is hereby given in terms of Section 9 of the Local Bodies Loans Act, 1913, that it is proposed by the Thames Valley.. Electric , Power Board to raise under Part I. of the said Act a further Special Loan for the purpose :of purchasing and constructing electric works within the meaning of and pursuant to the Electric Power Boards Act, 1925. The sum proposed to be borrowed is £150,000. The Board proposes to appropriate and pledge as a security for this loan and interest a Special Rate of one-fourth of a penny in the pound on ( the Capital Rateable Value of all rateable property within the Electric Power District. . It is proposed that the said Loan shall ’be repayable at the expiration of thirty-six and onehalf years from the Ist day of June, 1926, and that a Sinking Fund shall be provided of one per centum per annum.
