NETHERTON.

SILVER WEDDING.

Mr and Mrs William Craig, of Netherton, recently celebrated the silver anniversary of their wedding, which took place on March 27, 1901. The occasion was suitably commemorated by a large gathering of friends and well wishers at the homestead, Netherton, and congratulations, were showered on Mr and Mrs, Craig on the memorable occasion. There were forty gueste present. During the evening singing and dancing were indulged in, after which all adjourned to the dining room, where a sumptuous supper was partaken of. The health of Mr and Mrs Craig was drunk with musical honours .amid a, scene of great enthusiasm. Mr Craig suitably responded.

The presents, were numerous and costly.
