THE WEST CLUB. ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING. The annual general meeting of the West Football Club' was held on Friday night, the president, Mr E. Edwards, presiding over an attendance of 25 members and supporters. „ \ ANNUAL REPORT. The annual report stated : — “We wish to emphasise the necessity of co-operation among the members of the club. “The balance-sheet shqw(s' that only 26 members, paid their subscriptions /for the season, and in this connection your committee considers, that if a flat rate of 2s 6d a member w.as made it would add considerably to the club’s funds. “The. club played nine club fixtures in the senior-competition for the Cup and two matches in the Banner competition, and won’the banner presented by the .Union., - ' “The juniors played, eight matches and 'won every one, and only had three points’ scored against them during the season. Crosby’s medal for the most improved junior .back - was won by W. Southby.; Mr E.' V. Slyfield’s medal for . the most improved third-grade, player was won by C. Nield ; Mr W. Fleming’s medal for the best junior back .was won by RSwa.nn.
