PROSPECTS FOB COMING SEASON. x. ANNUAL : MEETINGS ARRANGED. With the 'approach of winter Rugby football, comes:-'to the forefront, and lovers of outdoor sport begin to consider the prospects for the coming . season. . SO ftirj as this district is concerned the- prcGpects of a successful season have never appeared brighter. It is reasonable td‘suppose that the Paeroa Rugby union will commence the sea‘.son with as credit balan’ce; and with the provision of two good playing fields in the domain, situated, as it is . in the centre of Paeroa, the - game should receive a decided impetus and plenty of support. Local players and supporters of the . ga.me are already bn. .the warpath. The annual general meeting of the West Club is to be held at Mr Bain’s: Room at-7.30 o’clock this evening. On • Monday evening,, the East Club is to hold its annual meeting at the same location.
