PLAINS V. AUCKLAND. THE TEAM SELECTED. The team chosen to represent the Hauraki Plains in the match against Auckland at the Ngatea courts) tomorrow is as follows :— G. L. Griffiths, W. E. Murphy, F. C. Robinson, S. Coppins, Miss, Duffy, Mrs F. Clotworthy, Mrs Bird, and Mrs o’Lo.ughlin. All these will play singles, and ajso doubles, while if time permits the ladies will play in mixed doubles with the following: D. G. McMillan, D. Molesworth, T. Mackay, and A Otter. The combined doublet' will not be played if there is a likelihood of .the exhibition singles by the top Auckland players being abandoned owing to lack of time. On Saturday evening tile visiting players will, be entertained at a dance in the Ngatea Hall, and on Sunday they will be taken by motpr-car to see the district, leaving for Auckland in the afternoon. The match, which is timed to commence at 11 a.m., should prove an attractive one to all tennis enthusiasts, who will be able to see players of recognised standing in action. Members of the Ngatea club are busily engaged in getting the courts in order .and erecting a pavilion and buffet. The ‘fencing is almost finished, and the seats will be erected by to-morrow. PAEROA ARRANGEMENTS. TEAMS TO TRAVEL.. To-morrow the Paeroa. Lawn Tennis Club'will play two matches.. The A teain is to travel to Thames and will play the Thames Methodist Club, while t're B team will meet the Netlv erton A team at Netherton. -The A team will comprise Mrs G. Masters, Misses C. Taylor, J. Ellis, K. O’Grady, V. Shand, L. Thorp, Messrs A. Rush ton, H. Thorp, R. Miller, F. Thorp, W. Leach, G.< Wells. Cans will leave the Bank of New Zealand corner at 12.45 p.m. sharp. The B team has been selected as follows : Mrs PittSf, Misses H. Taylor, I. Taylor, A. Wyalb Messrs S'. Hamilton, J. Bigelow, L. Masters, I. Peck, ,A. Grant, and M. Poland . Cars will leave the Bank of-New-Zealand corner at 1 p.m. sharp.
