RESOLUTION. In exercise of the powers conferred on it by section 23 of the Counties Act, 1920, the Hauraki Plains County Council hereby resolves, by way of Special Order, as follows: —
1. On and after a date to be fixed by the Minister of Internal Affairs and notified in the New Zealand Gazette, the Ngatea Riding shall be altered by including therein and the Patetonga Riding shall be altered by excluding therefrom the land described in the first schedule hereto. 2. The boundaries of the; Patetonga Riding as altered shah be as described in the second schedule hereto. 3. The boundaries of the Ngatea Riding as altered shall be as described in the third schedule hereto.
THE FIRST SCHEDULE HEREINBEFORE REFERRED TO. All that area in the Hauraki Plains County bounded towards the north by a line commencing at a point where the southern boundary of Block XI., Piako Survey District, intersects the western boundary of the County, thence proceeding easterly along the southern boundary of section 5 (Forest Reserve), Block XI., Piako Purvey District, and of sections 3 and 4 Block XII., Piako Survey District; thence southerly along the western boundaries of sections 8 and 9 of the said Block XII., again in an easterly direction > along the southern boundaries of sections 9, 10, and 11 of the said Block XII. to the centre of l the Waitakaruru-Mor-rinsville Road; thence on the east proceeding in a south-easter-ly direction along the centre, of the said road to a point in line with the boundary between section 1, Block XVI., Piako Survey District and Ngarua ■ part 181 Block (containing 34 acres), thence to and along the said boundary to the southern boundary of the said section 1; thence on the south proceeding in a’ westerly direction along the southern boundaries of sections. 1 and 2 Block XVI., Piako Survey District, to and by a right line, across section 9 Block XVL, Piako Survey to the western boundary of the County; thence on the west proceeding in a northerly . direction along the County Boundary to the point of commencement. *
THE SECOND SCHEDULE HEREINBEFORE REFERRED . TO.
All that area in the Hauraki Plains County bounded’ towards the north, by a line commencing at a point where a right line produced from the southern boundary of section 2 (across section 9), Block XVL, Piako Survey District, intersects the western boundary of the Courity, thence proceeding in an easterly direction by the said right line to and along the southern boundary of section 2 and the southern and eastern boundaries of section 1, Block XVL, Piako Survey District, to and by a right line to the centre of the WaitakaruruMorrinsville Road, thence northerly along the centre of the said road to a point in line with the southern boundary of Ngarua 1838 Block, thence by a right line to and along the southern boundary of the said Block, thence southerly along the western boundary of section 20 and along the southern boundaries of sections 20, 19, and 18 of Block XII., Piako Survey District, thence along the southern boundaries of sections 4,5, 6,17,16,15, 14 of Block IX., Waihou Survey District, thence by a right line to the centre of the Piako ,River to a point where it is met by the northern end of the Waikaka Cut .; thence bounded towards the east, south, and west by the Piako River and the southern and western boundaries of the County to the point’> of commencement. .
THE THIRD SCHEDULE HEREINBEFORE REFERRED. TO'. All that area in the Hauraki Plains County bounded towards the north, west, and north by a line commencing at a point jvhere the boundary of section 12 (Climatic and Forest Reserve), Block XI., Piako Survey District, intersects the western boundary of the County, thence proceeding in a north--easterly direction along the south-eastern boundaries of sections 12, 6. 7,8, and 9 of the said Block XL, thence along the south-eastern boundaries of sections 23 and 24 of Block VII. of the said Survey District, thence along the south-eastern boundary of Waitakaruru No. 5B 2 (6577), thence by a right line to the centre of the Waitakaruru-Maukoro Canal Reserve, thence in a northerly direction, down the centre of such canal reserve to a point op-' posite the southern boundary of section 48 of Block IV., Piako Survey District, thence in an , easterly direction to anl along the southern boundaries of sections 48 and 49 of the said Block IV. to and across the Pouarua Roa’d, thence in a northerly direction along the western boundary of section 5 Block 1.,. Waihou Survey District, thence in an easterly direction along the northern boundary of the said section 5 and of Lof 1 of section 6, thence in a southerly direction along the eastern boundary of the said Lot 1 to a point opposite the southern boundary of section 7 of the said Block, thence by a fight line across Pipiroa-Ngatea Road to and along the southern boundaries of the said section 7 and sections 8 and 40 of the said Block, thence in a northerly direction along the western boundary of section 10
