The game was interesting throughout, and was considered to be one of the best exhibitions, of cricket seen’ locally' for many years. The teams were evenly, matched, and they are level in the Piako Cricket Association competition. The fielding of both teams, was of a high order, and the wicketkeeping tactics of GarneY (Waitoa) frequently drew applause, Time permitted of a single innnigo, game only, being played, the local team having a lead of 12 Tins.
